Dr. Lauren J. Footman, EdD Executive Director
Dr. Lauren J. Footman is the inaugural Executive Director of End Community Violence Now, where she spearheads initiatives aimed at reducing gun violence in communities throughout Delaware. With a wealth of experience spanning the corporate, non-profit, higher education, and government sectors, Lauren is a strategic leader renowned for her expertise in organizational development and advocacy. As a thought leader in violence prevention, she is frequently sought after for her insights on engaging diverse communities in policy creation, program development, and research.
Lauren holds degrees from Bryn Mawr College and the University of Pennsylvania, and a Doctorate in Education from Saint Joseph’s University. She has also contributed to numerous non-profit boards, including the Delaware County Women’s Commission and the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce. Recognized for her leadership, Lauren has been named to the Philadelphia Business Journal’s 40 Under 40, the Philadelphia Tribune’s Top 10 Under 40, and Metro Philadelphia’s Black Power Players list.

Danielle Fisher, Program Officer
Danielle is the Program Officer of End Community Violence Now, where she manages and supports the organization’s grantee relationships in Delaware, ensuring that community-based organizations receiving funding are equipped with the technical assistance, resources, and developmental support they need to successfully implement violence reduction initiatives.
Prior to End Community Violence Now, Danielle worked as a Senior Consultant at Social Contract, a Delaware-based social impact consulting firm. For five years, she led the project planning and implementation of projects related to health and social services, workforce development, and social-emotional learning. During her time at Social Contract, Danielle incubated and launched End Community Violence Now, led a statewide service delivery improvement project, and managed Delaware’s 2021 Trauma Awareness Month.
Danielle graduated from the University of Delaware with a major in Human Services. At the University of Delaware, Danielle received the Lila C. Murphy Award for her outstanding service in the community.
Danielle lives in Philadelphia, and in her free time serves on the board of the Delaware Center for Justice.

Charmaine Corbin, Executive Assistant
Charmaine Corbin serves as the Executive Assistant at End Community Violence Now, where she provides strategic support to the organization’s leadership in event planning, communications, program administration, and day-to-day operations.
Before transitioning to the nonprofit sector, Charmaine spent nearly 20 years in financial planning and operations. She most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer of a boutique financial planning firm, overseeing business operations and strategic initiatives. During her career in financial services, she was a licensed insurance representative and held FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 registrations.
Charmaine earned a Bachelor of Arts from New York University and a Master of Science in Biomedical & Molecular Science Research from King’s College London. She resides in South Jersey with her family and has been a licensed foster parent for more than four years, focusing on supporting youth who are approaching the transition out of the foster care system. Her commitment to advocacy and service reflects her passion for empowering young people and strengthening communities.
